Trupa The Național a fost premiată pentru cel mai bun album alternativ pentru „Sleep Well Beast”, in timp ce The Rolling Stones a castigat categoria "Best Traditional Blues Album" cu "Blue & Lonesome".
U2 a interpretat o odă pentru imigranţi, „Get Out of Your Own Way”, în timp ce Hillary Clinton a avut o apariţie surpriză, unde l-a ironizat pe preşedintele american Donald Trump, alături de artişti precum Cher, John Legend şi Snoop Dogg, dând „audiţii” pentru lectura cărţii „Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”, scrisă de Michael Wolff.
